Question about PD - Guild Wars Forums

On my mes, i was running an basic PD build to practice interupts, and during the battle i noticed that when i used PD on [skill/]barrage[/skill]. It would interupt it but not disable it, ONLY if i used PD when it was almost finish firing. If i used PD before about half way of barrage, it would interupt and disable... now is this suppose to work like this?.. thats my question.

Possible annomaly? I see no reason for it not to be blocked for an additional X amount of time.

Who was using barrage? Just tested it with guildie and it was disabled regardless of when I interrupted it.

When it doesn't disable, are you sure you're interrupting [[Barrage] and not the next auto attack?

Opponent using barrage and yes im sure it interupted barrage cause he did not shoot.. but 1 sec later he used again.

Did he interrupt his own attack? It's common for barrage users to interrupt skills themselves when a mesmer is locked on them. They are hoping to draw out the interrupt...

@ Kumu.. no he did not self interupt it cause it was almost done firing.. ( the activation bar was almost done when i used PD) and the ranger (no offense) was not smart enough to use cancel...you have to trust me on that... i've played JQ a lot... i'm stilll not sure why PD did not disable barrage during the times i've interupted it when it was almost about to fire, when it clearly did stop him using it... the activation bar stopped right before.. so that is clearly an interuption.
